https://ijecom.org/index.php/IJECOM/article/view/88

The development of technology and the rapid flow of data and information spread on the internet require the public to know the latest information. To get this information, in general, people use search engines or search engines that can make it easier to search for information. Some search engines available on the internet utilize web crawlers to obtain the information needed by users. This research developed a web crawler application to retrieve information about prices from two comparison sites, namely the elevenia site and the mataharimall site. The data obtained from the crawling process will be stored in a database which can then be used by users to see price comparisons of the products they are looking for, then users can also see the details of the products they are looking for. This system was developed using the waterfall method and displaying it in a Cross Selling format for the product it was looking for. This research has resulted in crawler applications and systems using cross selling.
Adelia rudangtaWirda fitrianiHerdianto

https://ijecom.org/index.php/IJECOM/article/view/94

Leave is one of the rights of employees in an agency or company. Good and effective leave data processing can make it easier for administrative officers to monitor. However, leave data processing at the PT Pembangunan Perumahan field office has not used an information system so that administrative officers have difficulty in monitoring employees on leave. This causes employees who have completed their leave period but have not returned to duty. The purpose of this study is to design a system for monitoring leave. By implementing the incremental method, it is easier for the author to design a leave monitoring system according to the needs of the institution. Administrative officers can monitor leave more easily because the system is equipped with a recapitulation feature.
Siti Ayu AgustinSri WahyuniIrwan Irwan

https://ijecom.org/index.php/IJECOM/article/view/83

Earthquakes are extremely dangerous natural disasters that can cause severe damage to infrastructure and loss of life. These disasters often occur suddenly, making mitigation efforts difficult. Therefore, earthquake prediction is very important for human safety. The scientific community continues to be interested in this topic, and our understanding of this complex natural phenomenon will be improved if we can develop accurate earthquake prediction models using machine learning methods. These models will help save lives and reduce damage. In this study, we propose a new feature selection approach that combines two filtering approaches: normalization on analysis of variance, Chi-square technique, and correlation based on Logistic Regression to analyze the correlation between features and select the main features before feeding them into the classification model. Four commonly used algorithms are applied to help find patterns in the obtained data. Our method, which relies on a soft voting classifier that combines the best three models to produce a single model that carries the strengths of the combined models, is able to predict earthquakes early. The proposed methodology outperforms previous studies, achieving accuracy, F1_score, recall, and precision of (0.994, 0.99, 1, 0.98), respectively.
Abdul KhaliqMuhammad Muttaqin

https://ijecom.org/index.php/IJECOM/article/view/92

This study aims to develop an interactive learning application about healthy lifestyles for elementary school students at SD Panca Budi Medan. The background is the importance of healthy lifestyle education from an early age, which affects the physical and mental development of children. However, conventional learning methods are often less interesting for students, so innovation is needed. This study uses the Multimedia Development Life Cycle (MDLC) method, which consists of the stages of conception, design, material collection, assembly, testing, and distribution. The application developed has an easy-to-use interface, with various menus such as quizzes, materials, and instructions. Application testing using Black Box Testing ensures that all features, including buttons, navigation, and material content, run well. The test results show that the application is effective in helping students understand healthy lifestyles in an interactive way, as well as increasing their interest in learning. This application offers an interesting and fun learning experience, and can function as a relevant and useful teaching aid in improving students' understanding of the importance of maintaining health and cleanliness. Overall, this study shows that this Android-based application is effective in delivering healthy lifestyle material in an interesting and easy-to-understand way for students.
Eko HariyantoAqsan ApriandiHafni
